“Carry your start menu on a USB stick”

If you move around a lot but don't want to take your PC with you, then taking your Start menu is the next best thing. If you're using programs that don't need any prior installation or are already installed on separate PCs, then this an excellent application. With Portable Start Menu you can create a menu from which to launch and keep them organized as you like. Note though that this is not a replacement for the Start Menu.

Adding and modifying elements is very simple and you can also configure it to close the program and close all applications that you uploaded. You can also organise and launch applications via a tray menu and close running applications on USB-Sticks automatically. It also checks if an application has been changed before it's last execution and it does not leave any traces on a host PC.

Simple and easy to use, if you're on the move a lot and miss the familiarity of your own PC, then Portable Start Menu is all you need.
